பொற்றை உற்ற முற்றல் யானை போர் எதிர்ந்து வந்த்தைப்
பற்றி உற்று மற்று அதன் மருப்பு ஒசித்த பாகன் ஊர்,
சிற்றெயிற்று முற்றல் மூங்கில் மூன்று தண்டர் ஒன்றினர்,
அற்ற பற்றர், சுற்றி வாழும் அந்தண் நிர் அரங்கமே.
English Translation
When the rutted battle-cry-elphant came against the Lord, He held it tightly in his clasp and quickly pulled a tusker-tooth. The pure, devoted, passion-free—the three-staff-holding medicants,-do live with him In Rangam-oor, the island in the Kaveri.
